Double Ended Candles

I am burning the candle at both ends this week; busy with personal and business commitments.  So, of course, also fighting a cold, and dealing with the whole Wolf situation. 

I spoke at some length with a social worker at the base hospital yesterday.  While, due to confidentiality reasons, he couldn't confirm or deny anything, of course, I could tell from a couple of the questions that he asked, that he had the Wolf's file in front of him.

His standard answer was "you definitely have some legitimate concerns".  They can't, again due to confidentiality, tell me what sort of follow up they will be taking, or even if they will be re-screening him prior to his scheduled d-date.  Unless he gives them permission to discuss it with me, and I expect my chance to make snow angels in hell will come first.

I have also decided that for the next while I am going to start all conversations with "No, I don't feel he is an immediate danger to himself, nor do I feel he is a danger to me, but thanks for asking."

So I wait, and continue to see my own therapist (or counselor or whatever the right name is).  


And take my Cold FX and my garlic and my pomegranite juice :-).  Here's hoping they can make up for serious lack of sleep.
