Crow reminds us to learn to trust our intuition and personal integrity, to create our own standards, whether or not they match those of the world around us...It is said that in the courtship process the male crow's voice takes on a singing quality. This tells us what the basis of sacred law is. There is one unfailing principle by which we can test our principles, that of unconditional love.

Red Friday - The Forgotten War
On December 13, 1950, the Second Battalion of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry landed in Yokohama, Japan, on their way to help fulfill Canada's commitment to her NATO allies in what they had thought, when they left Canada, was a conflict that was under control due to efforts of our American and British allies.

Unfortunately, the entry of China into the conflict in support of North Korea had changed the face of that conflict; the Pats would soon be joined by a battalion of Van Doos (Le Royal 22e Regiment; "Van Doo" is an english bastardization of the French word for 22, vingt-deux) and a battalion of the Royal Canadian Regiment.
There has been much criticism in Canada that Korea is the "forgotten War" and our government, and our people, have not given the Veterans of that conflict their due. Especially now, that sabre are rattling in the region again, remember what happened, the sacrifices made, and the lives changed.
Never Forget.
