Crow reminds us to learn to trust our intuition and personal integrity, to create our own standards, whether or not they match those of the world around us...It is said that in the courtship process the male crow's voice takes on a singing quality. This tells us what the basis of sacred law is. There is one unfailing principle by which we can test our principles, that of unconditional love.

Out of the ashes ...
I have now realized that sometimes you have to go through that fire to cleanse you and make you ready for a fresh start.
I have grown so much in the last 2 years; become more confident and comfortable with who I am. I can't believe it has only been 2 years, so much in me, of who I perceive myself to be has changed.
I like me better now. So truly, without sounding pompous, I do believe that the phoenix is taking shape and rising from the ashes.
Look out, world.

ReplyDeleteThis quote from your post-I couldn't agree with it more. I'm convinced this "trial by fire" makes us stronger, more sensitive, more courageous, wiser...
Often we can't see this when we are going through it...all we know then is it sucks and it hurts but I really believe we become better human beings because of these experiences...that is...if we CHOOSE yo.
