Crow reminds us to learn to trust our intuition and personal integrity, to create our own standards, whether or not they match those of the world around us...It is said that in the courtship process the male crow's voice takes on a singing quality. This tells us what the basis of sacred law is. There is one unfailing principle by which we can test our principles, that of unconditional love.

I can see from StatCounter that some of you are trying to comment, but those comments are not making it through. I was unable to comment on Blogs while using Internet Explorer; I had to switch to Google Chrome.
I love hearing your thoughts, and do publish everything that isn't spam.

Happy blogiversary, Basinah. I'm glad to have randomly found your writings and to be someone in your blogosphere ... I think you and I are as alike as we are totally different, which makes reading your thoughts that much more interesting ...
ReplyDeleteAnd I heard that the cells of one's body are completely changed in 7 years, which is in a way a similar idea to the one above. In many ways I like that, but in some ways I am having a hard time (especially this summer, for a few reasons including, I suppose, the death of my mom in June) letting go of stuff from some 21 to 28 years ago ...
Your photo is a good reminder and push in the right direction.
Funny how things move and change. In so many ways I am grateful for that fact, it means that even if this summer is difficult, a new normal will eventually push me through.
Three years in boggerville is like 27 in dog years. It is amazing how fare we come in that time. You have been through a little more than most of us. You have come though those trials and have come out this end a better person. It is a treat and pleasure to read your 'stuff.' LYLT+
ReplyDeleteThat should have been, '...how far...' not fare. Sorry!
